travel from the Middle East to Thailand, and the ongoing tensions between the United States and China over Taiwan. Should these issues persist, they could have an impact on the Thai hotel industry. Specifically, an increase in petroleum prices will result in higher travel expenses, which will affect the demand for long-distance travel.
