Statistics report with key figures on the two cryptocurrencies from the Terra blockchain, LUNA and UST
Aimed at improving the efficiency of payments worldwide, the Terra blockchain from South Korea's Terraform Labs uses two cryptocurrencies to achieve its goals: the native Terra, or LUNA, token, and stablecoin TerraUSD, or UST. Like Ethereum, Terra allows for developers to build applications on top if it - such as Decentralized Finance or DeFi. The big difference, however, arrived in the fall of 2021 with the launch of Terra's Columbus-5 upgrade: The two coins work from that moment onwards work together to achieve a monetary stability not often seen in other decentralized digital currencies.
This report is meant to provide a single location for all key metrices on Terra's coins. How much is LUNA worth? How many UST coins are there? And how do current figures compare to the coin's history?
The set-up of this particular report is comparable to that of reports on individual cryptocurrencies or NFTs, to allow for cross-comparability between the different virtual currencies. It aims to have historical figures per day. Do note that some sources report more recent figures than others, and figures can change rather quickly.
We provide information on industries, companies, consumers, trends, countries, and politics, covering the latest and most important issues in a condensed format.
