Ecuador: indigenous malaria cases 2010-2019
In 2019, a total of 1,803 indigenous cases of malaria were reported in Ecuador. Since 2014, the number of indigenous cases of malaria in the South American country has been continuously increasing. Further, that year, there were 106 imported cases of malaria also registered in the country.
