Region IV-A (CALABARZON) had the highest number of approved permits for residential building construction in the Philippines in 2023. That year, the region had about 26,900 residential buildings constructed, most of them were single residential buildings. In comparison, there were 131 residential building constructions in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
