This statistic presents the level of trustworthiness of social media sites according to adults in the United States as of November 2018, by age. According to the findings, 22 percent of respondents between the ages of 18 to 29 years reported that they placed a lot of trust towards social media platforms. In comparison, nine percent of respondents in the same age group stated the opposite, by having no confidence at all in the trustworthiness of social media sites.
