Primary care physician needs among U.S. adults in 2019, by generation
This statistic shows the percentage of U.S. adults aged 18 years and older that had or desired a primary care physician as of 2019, by generation. According to the results just 55 percent of Gen Z respondents had a primary care physician. In comparison, 20 percent of Gen Z respondents wanted a primary care physician at that time.
