According to the results of a survey regarding the public opinion on the government being able to deliver on the promises, 70 percent of respondents stated that they believed that the central government to be on track as of February 2019. The promises in question were made in the BJP's pre-election manifesto following the 2014 general elections.

*The survey is in reference to the government formed after the 2014 general elections, which is the 16th Lok Sabha. The legislative term is for a five year duration. The elections are scheduled to be held in 2019.
