According to the source, theme parks were selected based on level of investment, proportion of entertainment facilities. All Family Entertainment Centers (FECs), small amusement parks, characteristics towns, landscaped parks, retail, dining and entertainment (RDE) districts, standalone aquaria, botanic gardens and zoos were excluded. All selected theme parks are land based parks excluding water parks.
