That year, 21.7 percent of millennials had one child under the age of 14 in their household, while 53.1 percent had no children under 14.

The term „millennial“ (Generation Y) refers to the birth years of the respondents, from 1981 to 1995. This classification differs by source. According to the definition used here, at the time of the survey in 2021, millennials were aged between 26 and 40 years.
Information on total sample: 2021: 23,299 respondents, projection to 70.54 million people.
Information on target group “millennials” (26 to 31 years): 2,242 respondents, projection to 6.21 million people.
Information on target group “millennials” (32 to 40 years): 3,026 respondents, projection to 9.35 million people.
