Share of gastronomical experiences of Italian tourists 2018
This statistic depicts the share of gastronomical experiences of Italian tourists when travelling in 2018. According to data, 98 percent of respondents had at least an experience related to local food, while 93 percent tried three times or more the typical gastronomy when on vacation. Moreover, 86 percent experienced five times or more local specialties, whereas only two percent of Italian tourists had never had a gastronomical experience when travelling.
