Average reach per issue of daily newspapers in Belgium 2017-2019
Based on the reach of its daily issues (regardless of paper or digital readership), a copy of Flemish Dutch-language daily newspapers Het Laatste Nieuws and De Nieuwe Gazet were read by roughly 14 percent of the population. Overall, Flemish newspapers had a higher reach than their French counterparts. Sudpresse, the French-language newspaper with the highest reach, was read by about five percent of Belgians. This should not come as a surprise as Flanders has a larger population than Wallonia.
