This statistic shows the share of individuals who purchased online in Poland, as annual figures from 2009 to 2020. According to the data, the number of online buyers increased annually and reached 37 percent in 2018 for those who had last purchased online in the past three months. In 2020, the share of people in Poland that purchased goods online increased to 47 percent. Most likely this was the result of the covid-19 pandemic and subsequent restrictions of in person trade.

Data given are based on the annual Eurostat Model Questionnaires on ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) in households and by individuals. The aim of the European ICT usage surveys is to collect and disseminate harmonized and comparable information on the use of Information and Communication Technologies in enterprises and e-commerce at European level.
Data coverage corresponds to code I_BUY3 of INDIC_IS (Information Society Indicators).
