The most common financial goal that was discussed with, managed by, or delegated to wealth managers in 2023 was to protect the wealth of their clients. The share of investors who used their wealth managers for this reached above 40 percent, a decrease compared to in 2021. That year, the most common financial goal dealt with by wealth managers was to ensure adequate income, a less common goal in 2023.
