This statistic displays the results of an Ipsos survey of the expected future influence of countries and organizations in world affairs in Belgium in 2018.
The survey shows that as of 2018, public expectations that Canada and NATO would play a positive role in world affairs in the next decade were relatively high, while positive expectations of the part that the United States would play in global affairs were comparatively low.
Close to 80 percent of people surveyed expected Canada to have a positive influence in world affairs in the near future, while just over one quarter foresaw the United Nations having a positive global influence.
