Austria has been forecasted to concentrate most heavily on cross-border deals between 2019 and 2021, with an estimated 90 percent of all deals being done cross-border by 2021.
Cross-border mergers and acquisitions usually face a number of difficulties including differing tax rules and deal regulations, cultural and language hurdles, labor and employment issues as well as political differences.
