Reimbursed prescriptions in Norway had a sales value of around 13.8 billion Norwegian kroner in 2021. This was a higher sales value than for the other prescription categories. Health trust financed prescriptions had a sales value of around 6.7 billion Norwegian kroner that year, and non-reimbursable prescriptions of around 3.6 billion Norwegian kroner. In general, sales figures were significantly higher than in 2020.
