This statistic shows the percentage of those with a diagnosis of depression in the U.S. in 2016, by gender and state. In that year, around eight percent of women and four percent of men living in Utah had been diagnosed with depression. Overall, around 4.4 percent of individuals in the U.S. had been diagnosed with depression.
