This chart depicts the share of consumers of special beers in Italy in 2018, by age group. According to survey results, the target of special beer consumers in the whole Italian population was about 70 percent and 75 percent of adults between 35 and 44 years old consumed special beers.

By special beer is meant high-fermented beer, Belgian, pilsner, stout, bock beer, imported non lager beer, regional and craft beer in 50 cl and 75 cl format, as well as beer mix, light and non-alcoholic beer.
