France was the leading destination in Europe for inbound foreign direct investment (FDI) in 2022, with 1,259 new FDI projects being launched in the country during that year. The UK and Germany trailed France, with 929 and 832 new projects respectively, with Spain being the fourth most favoured investment destination with 324 projects in 2022.
