2015: 25,140 surveyed, projected to 69.24 million persons
2016: 23,854 surveyed, projected to 69.56 million persons
2017: 23,356 surveyed, projected to 70.09 million persons
2018: 23,389 surveyed, projected to 70.45 million persons
2019: 23,318 surveyed, projected to 70.60 million persons

The survey question was translated from German: "Auf diesen Karten sind verschiedene Sportarten aufgeführt. Bitte verteilen Sie die Karten auf das Blatt hier, je nachdem, wie sehr Sie die Sportart [Beachvolleyball] interessiert, oder ob die Ihnen ganz unbekannt ist." - "On these cards, several sports are listed. Please distribute the cards on the paper, depending on how interesting the sport (beach volleyball) is to you or whether you are unaware of it."
