From January to April 2021, over 390,000 light vehicles were sold in Mexico, representing an increase of around 15.3 percent in comparison to the light vehicle sales volume reported during the same period a year earlier. During the first four months of 2021, more than 100,000 new light vehicles from GM were sold in the country, followed by Nissan with roughly 74,000 units sold.
