This statistic presents the result of a survey on the reasons for traveling alone in Denmark in 2017. That year, 28 percent of respondents stated to have done a solo travel because they needed some time alone. 26 percent of Danes that traveled alone wanted to challenge themselves, while 15 percent wanted to meet new people.
