The survey outcomes indicate that among the supermarket chains considered, Lidl supermarkets had the largest market share of certified coffee beans in Belgium. In 2016, roughly 60 percent of the coffee beans available in Lidl supermarkets in Belgium had a sustainable label, whereas a number of supermarkets, including Aldi and Spar did not stock certified coffee beans in 2016.
