Mexico: value of automotive imports and exports 2009-2022
The automotive industry in Mexico has maintained a positive trade balance throughout the past decade. This Mexican sector's exports amounted to approximately 136.1 billion U.S. dollars in 2022, a growth of some 18.3 percent compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, automotive imports in Mexico surpassed 48 billion dollars that year, a year-on-year increase of 23.4 percent.
