This statistic presents the number of equity crowdfunding projects launched by innovative startups and SMEs and their outcome in Italy from 2014 to 2017. According to data, the number grew significantly in the years taken into consideration. In 2014 only 10 equity crowdfunding projects were launched, whereas the number reached 96 in 2017. The graph also shows that the success rate of such projects improved over the years: in 2017, 45 equity crowdfunding projects were successfully completed.
