This statistic shows the outcome of a survey done on the tasks of managers according to employees in the Netherlands in 2017. When the respondents were asked what they expect from their managers, roughly 50 percent of the employees indicated that they expect someone who protects them in conflict situations. Roughly ten percent of the self-employed, on the other hand, indicated that they expect a manager to be like a coach.
