This statistic displays the results of a survey concerning the privacy of criminal suspects at different stages in the justice system in Great Britain (GB) in 2018. Of respondents, 88 percent agree that the press should be able to name people once they have been found guilty of a crime. By contrast, only five percent of respondents think that the press should be allowed to name people who are being investigated for a crime, but have not been arrested or charged.
