According to the findings, the segment that most actively supports mobile commerce as a sales channel are the dating and social merchants, with a recorded support value of 90 percent, while the least actively supportive were the professional services industry. Only 50 percent of merchants in this segment supported m-commerce sales.

Nearly one-in-four merchants surveyed sell both digital and tangible goods online, while 40 percent sell digital goods exclusively and 37 percent only sell shippable goods. More than 60 percent of merchants sell shippable goods overall (with or without digital goods).
