Value of first time venture capital funding deals in Europe 2014-2022
The annual value of financing by companies making a first time venture capital (VC) fluctuated between 2014 and the second quarter of 2022. In 2020, the annual value amounted up to 4.3 billion U.S. dollars. In 2021, the value more than tripled and reached its all time highest, with 13.3 billion U.S. dollars. As of June 30, 2022, the value of financing by companies making a first time VC was 4.6 billion U.S. dollars.
