This statistic presents the results of a survey conducted in October 2017, in which residents in Guernsey were asked how satisfied they were with selected factors during a recent purchase. Among those surveyed, almost a half (48 percent) said they were said they were satisfied with the customer service in Guernsey and 36 percent claimed to be satisfied with the range of products available.

The source adds that compared to the resident population, the survey sample includes a disproportionate share of responses from females and individuals between 45 and 65 years old. As such, survey weights have been used to 'adjust for differences between the sample and the population, corresponding to gender, age and parish.'
* The question stated here is phrased slightly different than that of the source. The respondents in the survey were asked to think about a recent purchase when they bought a non-everyday item for ten British pounds or more. The question which followed was: 'When you purchased this item, how satisfied were you with...?'
