This survey illustrates the share of individuals awareness of contactless payment cards in Russia in 2016. It can be seen that 39 percent of respondents stated that they knew about contactless payment but have never used it, whilst 16 percent of individuals surveyed stated that they had heard something about it as a payment method. Nearly a quarter of respondents agreed that they have already used the technology.
