This statistic displays the results of a survey about the public approval in regards to the management of the relationship between the Indian government and Pakistan following the 2014 general elections as of May 2018. During the measured time period, around 74 percent of respondents stated that they approved of the way the Modi ministry had handled their relationship with Pakistan as of the fourth year of being in power.

Respondents include citizens from over 250 districts in India. Not all respondents answered the question.

Note: The original survey question was phrased as follows: "Do you approve of the way Government of India has handled Pakistan in the last 4 years?".
The survey is in reference to the government formed after the 2014 general elections, which is the 16th Lok Sabha. The legislative term is five years long. The next elections are scheduled to be held in 2019.
