This statistic shows the average net premium that consumers are willing to pay for products with a 'Made in Britain' label in selected countries worldwide as of a survey conducted in November and December 2017. The countries included in the survey were China, India, United Arab Emirates, South Africa, United States of America, the Republic of Ireland, Germany and France. Consumers in these countries are willing to pay the highest premium on British-made food products, at 11.4 percent. This premium is substantially higher than the average for other product categories, with alcoholic beverages ranking in second place at 1.4 percent.
