The statistic displays the results of a survey regarding the distribution of restaurant visits in Belgium in 2017, by type of cuisine. As of 2017, the share of visits to Italian and Chinese restaurant exceeded visits to restaurants offering other types of cuisine. Of the roughly 350 respondents, over 30 percent visited restaurants serving Italian cuisine, whereas just one percent of respondents indicated visiting restaurants serving Egyptian and Indonesian cuisine.
