In 2020, there were over 109 thousand pharmacies and cosmetics shops operating through physical stores in Brazil, down from around 113 thousand pharmaceutical retailers a year earlier. Internet retailers of pharmaceutic and cosmetic products in the South American country amounted to more than seven thousand that year, over two times the number of internet retailers registered in 2019. Brazil is one of the top pharmaceutic markets worldwide.
