According to a survey conducted in the United Kingdom, households in the lowest ten percent disposable income group spent an average of 0.9 percent of their weekly household expenditure on gambling payments in the fiscal year ending 2020, which was the highest among the income groups. In comparison, households in the highest 10 percent spent only 0.2 percent of their weekly household expenditure on gambling in that period.
