This statistic shows the results of a survey among American teachers in grades K to 12 about a recent proposal that calls for teachers to receive special training so they can carry guns at school. The survey was conducted in March 2018, in the aftermath of the school shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida. During the survey, 63 percent of polled teachers stated they strongly oppose the proposal.
