The inheritor of the salmon company Salmar and model Gustav Magnar Witzøe was the richest Norwegian in 2022, with a fortune of 26.5 billion Norwegian kroner. The second wealthiest individual was grocery chain owner Odd Reitan, with a fortune of nearly eight billion Norwegian kroner. Nicolai Tangen, manager of the Norwegian Pension Fund, ranked third. The Ferd-inheritors Alexandra and Katharina G. Andresen were the two richest women in the country.
