This statistic shows the results of a survey conducted in Italy in 2017 among 164 companies, mainly small- sized enterprises active in the manufacturing sector. The aim of the survey was to find out the most frequently committed economic crimes against Italian organizations as of 2017. As of the survey period, 45 percent of respondents indicated cybercrime as being the most reoccurring type of fraud their organization experienced. Other 32 of respondents experienced frauds committed by the consumer.
