This statistic illustrates the results of a survey conducted from December 2017 to January 2018 about the bathing and shower habits in Japan, broken down by season. The survey revealed that almost 69 percent of respondents preferred to have a bath during the colder seasons, while bathing was less popular in spring and summer. However, over 44 percent would still regularly soak in the bathtub during the warmer months.
