This statistic shows the total number of used cars sold to private individuals (B2C) in the Netherlands from 2013 to 2017, by car age. In 2017, approximately 280,000 of all used cars sold were younger than five years. However, when compared to the previous year, it shows that the total sales of older cars increased. Sales of passenger cars in the Netherlands peaked at approximately 556,000 units in 2011, but then continued to decline in the following years until an increase was observed in 2015.
