Investments in the energy transition surpassed 55 billion U.S. dollars in 2023 in France. That was the highest amount invested in France's clean energy transition efforts so far. Investments remained at a relatively similar level during the previous decades, increasing significantly only in 2011 to 10.5 billion U.S. dollars.
