This statistic illustrates the total value of the financial assets of Italian households in 2017 and 2018, broken down by asset type. In the year 2018, the total value of bank deposits reached approximately 1.3 trillion euros, the value of insurances, pension funds and FRR of Italian households amounted to roughly one trillion euros. Conversely, bonds were the asset with the lowest value: 292 billion euros.
