Most of the new constructed area completed in Colombia in 2022 corresponded to apartment projects, making up for almost two thirds of the total constructed area. This represented an area of more than 10 million square meters. That same year, houses were the second biggest segment in Colombia.

The last edition of the study took into account projects within 23 main urban areas in Colombia. The number of areas taken into account has been increasing during the past years.
