A survey conducted between 2013 and 2018 found out that, since 2015, at least four out five Dominicans claim to have a positive view of the United States. In 2018, approximately 84 percent of the people surveyed in the Caribbean country said they have either a good or a very good perception of the U.S. Thus, the Dominican Republic is the Latin American country where most people view the United States under a positive light.
