In 2020, Italy's new registrations of motorcycles with a cylinder capacity between 751 cc and 1,000 cc reached over 21,000 units. This is a year-on-year loss of almost 20 percent of its sales volume for the most popular cylinder capacity. By contrast motorcycles with a cylinder capacity under 125 cc increased in registrations by over 11 percent between 2019 and 2020.
