In 2022, over 90 percent of Peruvian households had access to the internet, a considerable increase compared to the 19.8 percent of households with internet access in 2012. Meanwhile, the share of households with internet access in Metropolitan Lima was far higher than in the rest of the country, especially when compared to countryside regions.
