In 2022, more than 1.4 million probable cases of Dengue virus were reported in Brazil, with nearly 481 thousand of them occurring in the Southeast region. That same year, the Brazilian Central-West ranked as the region with second largest number of dengue cases, with over 348 thousand probable infections. Meanwhile, São Paulo had the highest number of Dengue fever cases in Brazil, with around 355.4 thousand probable cases reported in 2022.
