This statistic depicts the results of a survey conducted in Italy between June 26 and July 5, 2017. The aim of the survey was to analyze the crackers varieties available in Italian supermarkets and hypermarkets. According to the survey results, rice crackers were found in 99 percent of the analyzed supermarkets and hypermarkets, whereas hulled-wheat crackers in 73 percent of them. Moreover, consumers could buy kamut or buckwheat crackers in 40 percent of the examined supermarkets.
Which crackers varieties are to be found on supermarket shelves in Italy?
The survey was conducted in 152 supermarkets and hypermarkets belonging to the following retail chains: Carrefour, Conad, Coop, Despar, Esselunga, Pam, Simply and Unes. The method used implied going directly to the locations and checking the products displayed on the shelves.
