Sales volume of Mini cars in the Netherlands 2001-2020
Mini is a small economy car originally manufactured by the British Motor Company since 1959. BMW acquired the Rover Group in 1994, after which it was broken up, while BMW retained the Mini brand and the new generation car was introduced in 2001. In 2018, over 6,800 Mini cars were sold in the Netherlands, this was approximately 700 units more than in 2017 and the highest amount of Mini cars sold in the 2001 to 2018 time period. Over the time of 2020, just approximately 4,800 Mini cars were sold in the Netherlands.
